O impacto da morte de Casald\u00e1liga (Pere, dom Pedro, Pedro), tem sido enorme, impressionante, n\u00e3o apenas nos espa\u00e7os eclesi\u00e1sticos. Merece, sem d\u00favida, uma reflex\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Surpreende que aquele jovem de Balsareny que entrou no semin\u00e1rio de Vic e depois nos Mission\u00e1rios Cordimarianos-Claretianos, bem na \u00e9poca da ditadura de Franco e da Igreja de cristiandade pr\u00e9-conciliar, ao ir para o Brasil tenha se tornado um Santo Padre da Igreja<\/a> dos pobres e profeta da liberta\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

De onde foi que Casald\u00e1liga tirou a for\u00e7a para trabalhar pastoralmente em S\u00e3o F\u00e9lix do Araguaia<\/strong> com os Tapirap\u00e9 e os Xavante; para defender os posseiros<\/em> contra os latifundi\u00e1rios; para promover organiza\u00e7\u00f5es e movimentos sociais e eclesi\u00e1sticos no Brasil e em toda a Am\u00e9rica Latina; para criticar o Imp\u00e9rio do Norte e dizer a Pedro para deixar a c\u00faria, desmantelar o sinedrio, a muralha e abandonar os filact\u00e9rios? Como teve a liberdade prof\u00e9tica de amaldi\u00e7oar as cercas e a propriedade privada que escravizam a terra e os seres humanos? Quem o fez resistir \u00e0s amea\u00e7as de morte dos poderosos e \u00e0s cr\u00edticas, suspeitas e vetos dos seus irm\u00e3os de b\u00e1culo e mitra?<\/p>\n

Como conseguiu enfrentar a pobreza, as longas viagens de \u00f3nibus, a solid\u00e3o e as limita\u00e7\u00f5es finais do irm\u00e3o Parkinson, enquanto o seu cora\u00e7\u00e3o estava alegre e \u201ccheio de nomes\u201d?<\/strong> De onde veio a sua esperan\u00e7a<\/a> de que, embora sejamos combatentes derrotados, a nossa causa \u00e9 invenc\u00edvel, caminhamos em direc\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 Terra sem Males, em direc\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 utopia<\/a>, em direc\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 Esperan\u00e7a com mai\u00fascula?<\/p>\n

Pedro n\u00e3o morreu de p\u00e9 como as \u00e1rvores, mas na cama, quase sem conseguir falar e totalmente dependente dos outros, n\u00e3o tendo nada, n\u00e3o carregando nada e n\u00e3o podendo nada.<\/p>\n

Estamos diante de uma vida misteriosa. Ele n\u00e3o foi um simples planificador pastoral, n\u00e3o foi soci\u00f3logo, nem economista. N\u00e3o foi apenas um revolucion\u00e1rio pol\u00edtico. Qual foi a raiz \u00faltima da sua vida, qual \u00e9 o seu mist\u00e9rio oculto?<\/strong> Felizmente, a sua poesia oferece-nos a chave hermen\u00eautica da sua vida.<\/p>\n

N\u00e3o se trata apenas de poemas est\u00e9ticos, mas m\u00edsticos, como os de S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o da Cruz, que nos abrem para o Mist\u00e9rio \u00faltimo, para um Voc\u00ea, um Voc\u00ea com quem ele tem uma rela\u00e7\u00e3o que n\u00e3o \u00e9 meramente individual e religiosa, mas hist\u00f3rica, que o leva a subir e descer do Monte Carmelo<\/a>, para ouvir o Vento do Esp\u00edrito na rua.<\/p>\n

Para Casald\u00e1liga, Jesus de Nazar\u00e9 \u00e9 a sua for\u00e7a e o seu fracasso, a sua heran\u00e7a e a sua pobreza, a sua morte e a sua vida. \u00c9 o Jesus da cova de Bel\u00e9m e dos pastores, das bem-aventuran\u00e7as, dos pobres e dos pequenos, das mulheres fi\u00e9is, da paix\u00e3o e da cruz, do Jesus do Reino, do amor feito alimento.<\/p>\n

Esse Jesus \u00e9 pedra de esc\u00e2ndalo e pedra angular, como tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o os pobres; \u00e9 o libertador total, assassinado pelo Templo e pelo Imp\u00e9rio, mas cujo t\u00famulo vazio, tal como os t\u00famulos do povo massacrado, anuncia a manh\u00e3 da P\u00e1scoa. Para Casald\u00e1liga existem apenas dois absolutos: Deus e a fome; onde h\u00e1 p\u00e3o, l\u00e1 est\u00e1 Deus.<\/p>\n

O bispo de S\u00e3o F\u00e9lix foi sempre tocado pelo cap\u00edtulo 21 do evangelho de Jo\u00e3o, que ele o entendia como uma s\u00edntese da sua vida: a abundante pesca no lago de Tiber\u00edades depois do fracasso da noite escura, enquanto na margem uma personagem misteriosa o convida para almo\u00e7ar e pergunta a Pedro se ele o ama: \u00abJesus de Nazar\u00e9, filho e irm\u00e3o,\/ vivendo em Deus e p\u00e3o na nossa m\u00e3o,\/ caminho e companheiro da viagem,\/ libertador total da nossa vida\/ que vem pelo mar, com a aurora,\/ as brasas e as feridas ardentes\u00bb.<\/p>\n
