O latif\u00fandio e, mais recentemente o agroneg\u00f3cio, geram desigualdade, acumula\u00e7\u00e3o e destrui\u00e7\u00e3o para a grande maioria das pessoas. Milhares de fam\u00edlias e Povos Ind\u00edgenes s\u00e3o condenados \u00e0 pobreza por n\u00e3o poder dispor de um peda\u00e7 o de terra para viver. Casald\u00e1liga foi um dos primeiros em denunciar esta situa\u00e7\u00e3o injusta, se posicionando abertamente contra o latifundio e a favor da ocupa\u00e7\u00e3o e a resist\u00eancia.<\/p>\n

Os Povos Ind\u00edgenas s\u00e3o esperan\u00e7a, vida em plenitude e Patrim\u00f4nio da Humanidade. Milhares deles, por\u00e9m, foram massacrados, torturados, expulsos de suas terras ou \u201cintegrados\u201d. Denunciar o genoc\u00eddio ind\u00edgena e se posicionar radicalmente a favor desses Povos Ancestrais \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio e urgente. Casald\u00e1liga e a sua equipe s\u00e3o percursores nessa luta pela liberdade dos Povos Ind\u00edgenas e colocaram a semente do indigenismo comprometido.<\/p>\n

Com base na realidade da Am\u00e9rica Latina, Casald\u00e1liga defende uma igreja presente ao lado dos mais pobres, fora dos dogmatismos estabelecidos e dotada de um maior grau de descentraliza\u00e7\u00e3o. Assim nasceu uma nova teologia, ecum\u00eanica; imbrincada no Povo; \u00e0 procura da Liberdade; que insiste em trabalhar as conseq\u00fc\u00eancias sociais e pol\u00edticas que o evangelho aut\u00eantico tamb\u00e9m inclui: o compromisso na transforma\u00e7\u00e3o da sociedade.<\/p>\n

A sociedade negra tem ainda muito caminho de liberta\u00e7\u00e3o pela frente. A liberdade formal foi conquistada, mas o preju\u00edzo \u00e9 evidente em muitas pessoas e o racismo institucional \u00e9 uma realidade longe de ter acabado. Casald\u00e1liga contribui com seu compromisso neste caminho da liberrta\u00e7\u00e3o. A Missa dos Quilombos ou a Romaria no Quilombo dos Palmares motivaram mudan\u00e7as imprescind\u00edveis na Igreja brasilera.<\/p>\n
